Rosa Guerrero Contreras is a San José native, born in Santa Clara and grew up downtown. She loves to be in nature, being active, cooking, singing, dancing, bonfires and generally having a great time. Rosa founded California Vegan Food Company with a quote in mind by Ella Baker, “this may only be a dream of mine, but I think it can be made real”. She dreamed of making vegan food comparable to bridge the gap between flesh (meat) centric and health forward eating.
